Finca Filadelfia is the OG family farm. My great great great grandfather, Manuel Matheu Sinibaldi, planted the first coffee shrubs in the area in 1864 and sold the fruits of his first harvest in London. Without this Rascal legend, the famous coffee region of Antigua Guatemala might not exist – commissioned by the President of Guatemala, he grew one million coffee plants and distributed them to other small farmers in the region, teaching them the art of growing a great cup of coffee. Thanks to his success, his son was able to buy the land that became Finca Filadelfia. The farm, a passion for coffee, and Manuel’s badass entrepreneurial spirit has remained with the family ever since.
